When it comes to fashion or makeup . . .

Do you ever wish the prices of certain items were more pocket friendly?

(Which I call swipe friendly because I don't do the cash thing)

Ok, so different individuals have different limits

But if you have a small budget 

Don't Fret 

You can still look fab on a budget

All you need to do is think outside the box

For instance, if you see a clutch that is by a certain designer 

and you want the product

But your husband, mom, dad, wife, and so on

would knock your lights out (not literally) if they saw it 

on your back, in your closet, on your finger, on your feet, on your head

(Ok Fatima, I think they get the point)

I got some tips for you, go to your local art supply store or wherever 

and make a similar item on your own

I have made earrings, bags, designed shoes, made headbands, 

created my own home decor

for the fraction of the cost 

Plus creating things on your own is so much more fun and gratifying

HERE YOU GO

1) Always keep broken items such as earrings, a belt, a pair of jeans that don't fit but

they have an awesome design ; Because you can always recreate looks

2. For simple pieces such as a tank, a plain pump or shoe, or plain bag just to name a few

Go to a more swipe friendly stores

Such as Forever21 , Maurices , DEB , Charlotte Russe, WetSeal 

These stores I use to locate simple Items or unique jewelry 

You have to be open because you never know what you can find and hook it up

Plus you'll have saved more money to make those Awesome Splurge products

that are must haves

Just because an item is suppose to be used for a certain task

Does not mean you have to use if for what it is ideal for

For instance, You can use a cute toothbrush holder to hold your make-up brushes in

Or a pair of earrings with spikes from Charlotte Russe can be taken apart 

and the pieces could be used to make a spike jacket or pair of shoes jewelry

(Who cares if the earrings were only like 4 bucks)

3) Just because an item is on sale does not mean that you should buy it

Consider if you can use the item multiple ways ,  consider the difference in retail price

from sale price,  is this a one of a kind piece . . .

You know things like that

One of my motto's is: Why spend money on something that's average

when you can put that money towards something 

that's a bit more pricey and worth it

So decide when to swipe or save!!!
