Totally Gross

Just because products are in a 

container does not mean that they don't go bad

All products have a "Throw Away Date"

Although, some things may have a longer life span

For instance, If my Mascara is used everyday

and you maybe use yours once a week (only for going out)

Then my product is more likely to turn Gross and manifest all these gross Germs 

faster than yours

Therefore, I'm not going to give a time limit on this post

but I do have a video on this topic

So rather than a time limit, I'm going to give you a number

of things to look for

When it's time to trash those products

Toss When:

1) There is a change in color

2) Color shifting

3) Change in texture

4) Contamination such as black spots or fuzzy growth (so GROSS)

5) Separation in product

Being Content. . .

What does being content mean to you

I know what it means to me . . . 

From one's standpoint, being content means

that one is satisfied, one is happy, and one is in a state of serenity 

With that being shared, does it mean that just because 

one has high standards for self and wants to be

successful and achieve endless possibilities 

Then that person is not content

I say that's rubbish 

There is a reason for long term and short term goals

If you don't push yourself

or aim for more

What is the point of working hard

It is believed that people have various levels 

and differing approaches to goal

And that is perfectly fine

But being content 

does not mean that you 

have to stop pushing forward

If you limit yourself

You'll never know 

what your capable of . . .

To that I say, believe in yourself

and continue to make goals 

throughout your life

Growth is a powerful thing

and you can't grow when you settle

Tip Uno: This is like a no brainer

I guess I'm so tired I can't function properly 

But it's still a good tip 

Ok So mini drum roll pls . . . 

Always tip your Waiter, delightful rewards are produced by 

polite and sincere actions

Tip Dos: Negativity can destroy one's perceptions, dreams, 

attitude, temperament, functioning, and so on

When a negative person comes your way

Or a negative situation arises 

GO fast in the other direction

My husband has helped me along the way

with dealing with negativity 

and his advice always helps

So just as he is there for me when clouds are gray

I am here to say I'm here when your load gets a bit to heavy 

or whenever you need encouragement 

Don't forget your Silly Gal Fatima, I'm here❤

I also highly suggest Yoga, if your not into all the poses

or you are physically unable to do the poses

You can Benefit from  

the breathing techniques

The Breath is so Powerful

You can cease anxiety, stress, or irritability (just to name a few)

with deep inhales and exhales through the nose

Swipe Friendly

Hi Loves

When it comes to fashion or makeup . . .

Do you ever wish the prices of certain items were more pocket friendly?

(Which I call swipe friendly because I don't do the cash thing)

Ok, so different individuals have different limits

But if you have a small budget 

Don't Fret 

You can still look fab on a budget

All you need to do is think outside the box

For instance, if you see a clutch that is by a certain designer 

and you want the product

But your husband, mom, dad, wife, and so on

would knock your lights out (not literally) if they saw it 

on your back, in your closet, on your finger, on your feet, on your head

(Ok Fatima, I think they get the point)

I got some tips for you, go to your local art supply store or wherever 

and make a similar item on your own

I have made earrings, bags, designed shoes, made headbands, 

created my own home decor

for the fraction of the cost 

Plus creating things on your own is so much more fun and gratifying

HERE YOU GO

1) Always keep broken items such as earrings, a belt, a pair of jeans that don't fit but

they have an awesome design ; Because you can always recreate looks

2. For simple pieces such as a tank, a plain pump or shoe, or plain bag just to name a few

Go to a more swipe friendly stores

Such as Forever21 , Maurices , DEB , Charlotte Russe, WetSeal 

These stores I use to locate simple Items or unique jewelry 

You have to be open because you never know what you can find and hook it up

Plus you'll have saved more money to make those Awesome Splurge products

that are must haves

Just because an item is suppose to be used for a certain task

Does not mean you have to use if for what it is ideal for

For instance, You can use a cute toothbrush holder to hold your make-up brushes in

Or a pair of earrings with spikes from Charlotte Russe can be taken apart 

and the pieces could be used to make a spike jacket or pair of shoes jewelry

(Who cares if the earrings were only like 4 bucks)

3) Just because an item is on sale does not mean that you should buy it

Consider if you can use the item multiple ways ,  consider the difference in retail price

from sale price,  is this a one of a kind piece . . .

You know things like that

One of my motto's is: Why spend money on something that's average

when you can put that money towards something 

that's a bit more pricey and worth it

So decide when to swipe or save!!!

Suggestion:  When it comes to judging others, it is fine to have an opinion

I mean we as humans are going to have our own views

But if your views are bias towards others and could hurt someones feelings

Ugggggggggh Keep your mouth closed

Thoughts are going to occur

But you don't have to speak them out and be mean

Judging is naughty 

Remember even GOD cried 

Be nice and if you witness Bullying 

Tell someone, Please!!!

Skin Care Saturday

If you can't stand the Acne word, the blemish word

the P-word ( I don't even like spelling it, it's gross)

You know the word with "Pimp" in it

And I'm not talking about "Money Mike" from Friday

Whether it's due to 

Hormones

That time of the FREAKING month

Laziness 

And so on . . . (who cares right , we just want it to go away)

Well here's the deal

You have to find what works for your skin

And this can be simple as doing your homework

A little research never hurt anyone . . . right

(Unless he or she found out something terrible)☹

So the key is to explore, don't use a lot of different products at one time

Because how in the world are you going to know

what is helping or causing further issues to your skin

So that along with Patience 

Can be a great start
